Can I choose my own phone number?

No. You will automatically be assigned an Australian virtual number once you purchase.

How much does a new number cost?

Currently, the price is between $10 and $20 per month depending on the country of the number but keep in mind you will also need to purchase call credits in order to make calls.

How is it billed and are there any lock-in contracts?

There are no lock-in contracts. Your credit/debit card will be charged on the same day in the following month until you decide to cancel.

How do I cancel my virtual number subscription?

Log into your Yabb app, select “manage virtual number” and tap “unsubscribe”. You’ll still get to use your phone number until the end of the billing cycle.

Can I use my phone number to send to SMS messages to multiple recipients?

You can send SMS to multiple people.

How long will it take before I can use my new phone number?

You will get an email once your virtual number has been assigned to your account, this typically happens within 30 minutes but can take up to 24 hours.

How do cancellations & refunds work?

If you wish to get a refund you need to request this within 24 hours. Cancellations can be done at any time from within your dashboard by clicking on “Virtual Numbers” (left hand menu) ticking the box next to your number and then clicking “Cancel”.

Do I have to pay to send an SMS?

You will need to purchase SMS packs in order to send text messages, which start at $7.95 for 100 text messages.

Do I have to pay to receive an SMS?

It doesn’t cost anything to receive a text message in most countries worldwide. However, there are a few exceptions, especially within the United States. If you’re unsure whether purchasing a virtual SMS number in Australia is right for you or your business, get in contact with our team for further information.

Can I receive messages from Viber and Whatsapp with my virtual number?

Yes. You can sign up for these services with your new number.
