Kazakhstan SMS Laws And Regulations
Kazakhstan has implemented strict SMS regulations, particularly for promotional and marketing messages. Effective October 3rd, 2018, all such messages sent to Altel and Tele2 subscribers require prior written consent from the recipient.
Messages sent between 10 pm and 9 am (GMT+6) are also restricted to users who have specifically opted in for this time frame. Non-compliance with these regulations may result in messages being classified as spam and could lead to fines if a recipient files a complaint.
